ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An oxide thermistor composition comprising 100 atomic % of cations comprising Mn ions, Ni ions, a cation selected from the group consisting of Cu ions, Fe ions, Cr ions and mixtures thereof, and a cation selected from the group consisting of Cr ions, Zr ions and Li ions. These compositions can form thermistors of similar characteristic properties as to thermistors containing Co-oxide.
