An oro-nasal mask primarily for aircrew comprising a body (4) shaped to fit around and enclose a wearer's nose and mouth. The mask has sealing means (4A) around the periphery thereof to make a seal with the wearer's face when fitted thereto, the sealing means comprising a resilient member (4B) provided around the periphery of the body (4) which, in use, locates the mask on the wearer's face so that it makes a seal therewith and a Flexible sealing membrane (25,26,27) overlying said resilient member (4B) and operable independently thereof to reinforce said seal when pressurised breathable gas is supplied to the interior of the mask (4).
