ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE OXYGENATION The invention relates to apparatus in the form of a self-propelled floating barge for oxygenating a body of water such as a river, comprising a well in which debris is filtered from the water before passing to venturis where oxygen, generated on board the vessel, is injected into the water. The water now oxygenated is then passed back into the river through two series of nozzles below the waterline of the barge, there being a series of nozzles along each side of the barge.
