ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to an aqueous oxytetracycline solution, for parenteral, peroral and local administration, which has a water content of 40-80 % by weight and contains 1-12 % by weight oxytetra- cycline in the form of the free base or as a salt and magnesium chloride in molar ratios of 1:1 to 1:4, 18-28 % by weight polyethylene glycol, pre- servatives, an ethanolamine solution and a buffer system consisting of tris-(hydroxymethyl)-aminomethane-hydrochloride and water, characterised in that the polyethylene glycol has a mean molecular weight of 300-600.
