OZONE GENERATOR ABSTRACT The ozone generator of the present invention is comprised of a glass tube having an inert gas in it and a tungsten or stainless steel electrode which extends from one of its ends to the other. A grid, which surrounds the tube receives current from the electrode to convert oxygen to ozone. The glass tube is formed from a high temperature, nonleaded glass, such as PYREX or GLASSEX and the gas in the tube comprises a mixture of two parts argon and one part helium.
