A method and system of ozone treatment diverts a portion of water from a flow of water in a conduit; injects an ozone-containing gas into the portion to provide an ozonated portion; recombines the ozonated portion with the flow of water in the conduit; and preferably controls and/or regulates the diverted portion to provide a minimum diverted portion flow rate according to flow in the conduit and proportion of ozone in the injected gas. Another method and system identifies a species-destructive reaction product of ozone with a water constituent, determines a life of the reaction product, and contacts ozone with a water containing the species for a period determined according to the determined life of the reaction product. Another method and system treat ballast-water with ozone without release of detrimental off-gas into the atmosphere.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de traitement à l'ozone permettant de dévier une partie de l'eau s'écoulant dans un conduit, d'injecter un gaz contenant de l'ozone dans une partie pour obtenir une partie ozonée, de réintroduire la partie ozonée dans l'eau s'écoulant dans le conduit et, de préférence, de contrôler et/ou de réguler la partie déviée afin de réduire à un minimum la quantité d'eau déviée en fonction de l'écoulement dans le conduit et de la proportion d'ozone dans le gaz injecté. Un autre procédé et un autre système permettent d'identifier un produit destructeur d'espèce issu de la réaction entre l'ozone et un constituant de l'eau, de déterminer la durée de vie du produit réactionnel, et de mettre en contact l'ozone avec de l'eau contenant l'espèce pendant un laps de temps déterminé en fonction de la durée de vie du produit réactionnel. Un autre procédé et un autre système permettent de traiter à l'ozone de l'eau de ballast, sans rejets de gaz nuisibles dans l'atmosphère.
