The present invention relates to a method for preparing a preparation of p53- dependent growth inhibitory factors for use in a pharmaceutical composition. Cultured human cells, capable of expressing p53 tumor suppressor protein, are induced to express and secrete p53-dependent growth inhibitory factors into the culture medium, where the growth inhibitory factors are recovered to prepare a preparation for use in a pharmaceutical composition. This pharmaceutical composition is then used in a method for reducing unwanted or abnormal cell proliferation by administering an effective amount to a subject in need thereof.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé pour fabriquer une préparation de facteurs inhibiteurs de croissance dépendants de p53, utilisée dans une composition pharmaceutique. Des cellules humaines de culture, capables d'exprimer la protéine p53 de suppression des tumeurs, sont induites pour exprimer et sécréter les facteurs inhibiteurs de croissance dépendants de p53 dans un bouillon de culture où l'on récupère les facteurs inhibiteurs de croissance pour fabriquer une préparation utilisée dans une composition pharmaceutique. Cette composition pharmaceutique est ensuite utilisée dans un procédé pour limiter la prolifération cellulaire anormale ou non désirée par l'administration d'une quantité efficace à un sujet qui nécessite ce traitement.
