The invention relates to a pacifier (10) and nipple member (100) for deliver of active ingredients into the oral cavity of an infant or patient. The pacifier (10) includes a porous nipple member (100) and a base member (200) adapted to remain outside the oral cavity of the infant. The porous nipple member (100) includes at least one reservoir (130) or chamber therein for receiving a thin-film containing an active ingredient. The base member (200) may be removably attached to the neck (120) of the nipple member (100), or the nipple (100) and base members (120) may form a single unit. Reusable and disposable forms are disclosed.
L'invention concerne une tétine et un élément de tétine qui permettent de distribuer des principes actifs dans la cavité orale d'un nourrisson. La tétine comprend un élément de tétine poreuse et un élément de base conçu pour rester hors de la cavité orale du nourrisson. L'élément de tétine poreuse contient au moins un réservoir ou une chambre afin de recevoir une couche mince contenant un principe actif. L'élément de base peut être fixé amovible au col de l'élément de tétine ou les éléments de tétine et de base peuvent former une seule unité.
