Abstract of the Disclosure A package is provided which consists of a container bottom made of thin-walled plastic, a narrow opening edge and a closure made of a sheet, which are joined with high strength and high tightness by heat-sealing in that two separate sealing zones are provided between the two parts, one of which primarily serving to achieve the high mechanical strength and the other primarily serving to achieve a high hermetic seal.
