The invention relates to a pack made of plastic and intended for hydrophilic articles, in particular for medical instruments with a hydrophilic coating, said pack being intended to ensure that the hydrophilic nature of the enclosed instrument is maintained over a long period of time. The pack comprises at least one receiving compartment that houses a medical instrument for insertion into body tissue, and it is characterized in that, after radiation sterilization, it has a proportion of volatile constituents of <= 0.1 µg/cm2.

L'invention concerne un emballage de matière plastique pour des objets hydrophiles, en particulier pour des instruments médicaux à revêtement hydrophile, qui doit assurer l'hydrophilie de l'instrument enveloppé pendant une durée prolongée. L'emballage comprend au moins une cellule de réception avec un instrument médical destiné à être inséré dans les tissus corporels et il est caractérisé en ce qu'il présente, après la stérilisation par rayonnement, une teneur en composants volatiles <= 0,1 µg/cm2.
