PACKAGE FOR LIQUID OR GRANULAR MATERIALS ABSTRACT Disclosed is a package for granular material for use with a dispenser. The package comprises a housing, having an upper and a lower end, for containing the granular material and an opening formed in the lower end of the housing. A resilient tube, having an upper and a lower end, extends downwardly from the lower end of the housing, the upper end of the tube being in communication with the opening to allow flow of the granular material from the interior of the housing into the tube. A slit diaphragm valve is disposed within the tube and disposed inter- mediate the upper and lower end of the tube and is adapted to be opened and closed by the dispenser to allow egress of the granular material from the tube.
