The invention concerns a package made from a thermoplastic film the ends of which are abutted, said film consisting of several layers including a first layer which at least is a sealing layer and a second layer which is only partly butt-sealed or not at all, and at least one strip of fine thickness covering said ends being directly fixed on one of the surfaces of the second layer, the melting point difference between the first and the other layer(s) being higher than 20°C.

Emballage realise a partir d'un film thermoplastique dont les extremites sont mises bout a bout, ledit film etant compose de plusieurs couches (7, 8) dont au moins une premiere couche soudante(8) et une seconde couche(7) dont Ie soudage bout a bout n'est que partiel ou inexistant, et au moins une bande(6) de fine epaisseur recouvrant lesdites extremites et etant directement fixee sur une des faces de Ia seconde couche, Ia difference de temperature de fusion entre Ia premiere et Ia ou les autres couches etant superieure a 20 -C.
