A package (10) for containing a product (16) such as meat. The package includes top and bottom opposing flexible chamber sheets (18, 20). These sheets are sealed together in a selected chamber seal zone (22) to define a waterlight chamber portion (12) that is capable of containing the product. A hollow frame (14) circumscribes the chamber portion. The frame supports the chamber portion when the frame is inflated. The need for a rigid tray may be eliminated by the inventive package.
