In a package for protecting and displaying goods, the package inlcludes a wireless smart package assembly and a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag. The assembly comprises a package having at least one sheet of material adapted to support a product during the shipment and storage of the product. An electrically conductive material distributed along a portion of the sheet so as to form a non-planar antenna. The non-plannar antenna may be configured to form a corner antenna or an array of spaced-apart dipole antennas. The invention when used with a passive RFID tag includes a power source within the RFID tag that allows for a one-time transmit capability.

L'invention concerne un paquet destiné à protéger et à présenter des marchandises, lequel paquet se compose d'un ensemble paquet intelligent sans fil et d'une étiquette d'identification radiofréquence. Ledit ensemble comprend un paquet constitué d'au moins une feuille de matériau conçue pour servir de support à un produit pendant son expédition et son stockage. Un matériau électroconducteur est disposé le long d'une partie de ladite feuille de manière à former une antenne non plane. Ladite antenne non plane peut être configurée pour former une antenne dièdre ou un réseau d'antennes bipolaires espacées. Le paquet selon l'invention, lorsqu'il est utilisé avec une étiquette d'identification radiofréquence passive, comprend, dans ladite étiquette, une alimentation électrique permettant une fonction d'émission unique.
