ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A package (1) comprised of (A) reclaim rubber (5) packaged in (B) a protective film (2) of thermosplas- tic ethylene/acetate coplymer and the use of such a package for the purpose of compounding additional rubber. The invention further relates to the resultant compounded rubber. Additionally, a method is provided of compounding rubber utiliz- ing the package reclaim rubber of this invention, rubber and compound ingredients for the rubber which are also packaged in the prescribed film.
