ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tubular container of lightweight foldable sheet material for housing a collocation of elongate articles comprises a plurality of hingedly connected side wall panels and end closure flaps. In the region of each end of the container are lines of weakness extending around a substantial part of the peripheral extent of the side wall panels so that on rupturing said lines of weakness the end portions of the container can be removed to permit access to the contents. In a preferred embodiment a pair of further lines of weakness extend between the first mentioned lines of weakness to form a tear strip which may be removed to open the container longitudinally. A transverse cut divides the strip into two strip portions and cooperates with further cuts to define pull tabs for the strip portions.
