The invention relates to the use of polyethylene terephthalate (PTFE) to produce packaging containers having a longitudinal seam, especially tubes, and a tube made of this material. Prior art containers have been made of said material by flow-forming and deep-drawing, but their transparency was poor. With the invention it is possible to make perfectly transparent containers at high production rates.

Cette invention concerne l'utilisation de polyéthylène téréphtalate (PTFE), pour produire des contenants d'emballage ayant un joint longitudinal, en particulier des tubes, et un tube fait avec cette matière. Des contenants ont déjà été faits avec ladite matière par fluotournage et par emboutissage profond, mais leur transparence était médiocre. Avec cette invention, il est possible de fabriquer des contenants parfaitement transparents à un rythme de production élevé.
