ABSTRACT A packaging machine which is especially suited for bagging pulverulent products and liquids in bags. Bags are transferred from a loading to a closure station by a stretcher and shuttle assembly. The stretcher includes fingers for projection into recesses in spreader horns and subsequent movement away from one another.
