ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a packaging material having excellent thermal adhesion sealability comprising (A) a base layer formed of a stretched propylene polymer and (B) a stretched surface layer formed of a blend of a propylene-ethylene copolymer and a C4-C10 n-olefln- propylene copolymer in a weight proportion of 20 : 80 to 94 : 6 by weight on at least one surface of said base layer. The resulting composite film has good transparency, gloss, anti-static properties and heat sealability. The film is particularly adapted for use in high speed automatic packaging machines.
