The invention relates to a packaging means such as a bottle, jar or other receptacle, with a sealing ring for such a packaging means, as well as to a process for manufacturing such a seal. It will be applied, in particular in the sphere of containers to be kept in stock and/or stored. Packaging means comprise at least a container and a lid, between which is arranged a sealing ring, defining an internal space in relation to the outside of said packaging means, said packaging means being capable of containing a product or any other substance whatsoever under conditions of vacuum or partial vacuum. Said sealing ring comprises means for bringing about communication between said internal space and the outside of packaging means, blocked while the vacuum is being brought about and/or maintained and capable of being unblocked in order to facilitate opening said packaging means.
