The invention is an extension of the packaging method described in patent nº 86-03956. Packaging in the form of sheets is provided, whereby the length of the lateral edges of said sheets is reduced by folding or gathering, said edges then being secured by glueing, welding and/or sowing. Unfolding of the central area produces a sheet having a cavity for receiving an object.

L'invention concerne une généralisation de la méthode d'emballage décrite dans le brevet no 86-03956. Elle permet de réaliser des emballages à partir de feuilles dont on diminue par plissage ou fronçage la longueur des bords latéraux qu'on fixe par collage, soudure et/ou couture, afin d'obtenir par dépliage de la zone centrale une feuille présentant une cavité dans laquelle une objet est susceptible de se loger.
