A packaging bag for use in a microwave oven, which has a steam vent seal section with a weakened section and where clogging in the steam vent section does not occur in cooking by the microwave oven and, even if clogging occurs, the clogging can be automatically removed. The packaging bag is sealed by heat- sealing a plastic film, and the steam vent section having at least one weakened section is provided in the weakened section. The weakened section has a portion where the width of the weakened section is gradually increased from the forward end section, at which the bag is planned to be opened, to the rear end section of the weakened section.
