A packet communication method comprises a step of starting up an order correction timer when the sequence number of a first packet is smaller than the sequence number of a second packet and if a predetermined sub-layer of a receiving side device has received the second packet before receiving the first packet and a step of transmitting a retransmission request of the first packet if the predetermined sub-layer of the receiving side device has not received the first packet until the order correction timer terminates.
