Packing protector for protecting the edge areas of a sheet-like object, said packing protector consisting of an edge protector (1) formed by narrow strips and of flanges (2, 3) extending from the edge protector to opposite surfaces of the object to be protected, both the edge protector and the flanges being preferably manufactured from cardboard. According to the invention, the edge protector (1) comprises joining areas (4) connecting adjacent strips (5) of the edge protector together so as to press the flanges obliquely toward each other.
L'invention concerne une protection d'emballage permettant de protéger les zones de bord d'un objet de type feuille. Cette protection d'emballage est constituée par une protection de bord (1) formée de bandes étroites, et par des rebords (2, 3) s'étendant de la protection de bord, aux surfaces opposées de l'objet à protéger, la protection de bord comme les rebords étant de préférence en carton. Selon l'invention, la protection de bord (1) comporte des zones de liaison (4) reliant entre elles les bandes adjacentes (5) de la protection de bord, de façon à presser les rebords de biais l'un vers l'autre.
