The invention concerns a kit comprising a medical device having an insertion needle and a packing providing a sterile protec-tion for the medical device, such a medical de-vice can be used for an infusion device provid-ing continued medication with e.g. insulin to a patient. More precisely the invention relates to an assembly comprising a medical device com-prising a mounting pad having an adhesive sur-face and an inserter which inserter comprises an insertion needle and a packing providing a ster-ile protection for the medical device which packing partly comprises a rigid material (1, 2, 7, 8, 5) and partly a soft material (10), wherein the rigid material is constructed of two angularly positioned and rigidly joined surfaces, a first and a second surface (1, 2), which surfaces (1, 2) cover two sides of the medical device (3, 4) which sides face two different directions and the non-adhesive surface of the mounting pad is not covered by a rigid surface.

La présente invention concerne un nécessaire comprenant un dispositif médical pourvu d'une aiguille d'insertion assurant au dispositif une protection stérile de façon que le dispositif médical puisse être utilisé pour un dispositif de perfusion délivrant en continu à un patient un médicament tel que l'insuline. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un ensemble comprenant un dispositif médical comportant un tampon de montage pourvu d'une surface adhésive et un dispositif d'insertion comprenant une aiguille d'insertion et une enveloppe assurant au dispositif médical une protection stérile, laquelle enveloppe comprend un élément rigide (1, 2, 7, 8, 5) et un élément partiellement souple (10). En l'occurrence, l'élément rigide est fait de deux surfaces formant entre elles un angle et réunies entre elles de façon rigide, une première surface et une seconde surface (1, 2), lesquelles surfaces (1, 2) couvrent deux côtés du dispositif médical (3, 4), lesquels côtés sont orientés selon deux axes différents, et la surface non adhésive du tampon de montage n'est pas couverte par une surface rigide.
