Abstract of the Disclosure A device for both holding written documents open and turning a predefined number of pages of said written documents, comprising of a frame with a number of longitudinal slots cut in its top surface, over the back half of the frame. A removable, rigid backplane and two moveable, transparent, rigid partitions fit into the slots on each side of a written documents and are used to hold the written documents open and in place. Another longitudinal slot is cut in the top surface of the device to the front of the frame. A tubular shaft rests lengthwise within the slot. Attached to the front of the shaft is a lever, protruding through a longitudinal cut into the face of the frame. This lever is used to slide the shaft back and forth along its slot in the frame. Attached to the top of the shaft is a bracket extending to just above the top of the frame. This bracket consists of a tube, horizontal to the frame, and two supporting posts connecting this tube to the shaft inside this tube rests the base of a "U" bracket, the vertical arms of which raise vertically to the shaft, extending up from either side of the tube. The page to be turned is placed within this "U" bracket. Sliding the shaft then turns the page, and holds that page in place, in a single swift action.
