A paging method and apparatus for a mobile communication network to which at least two non-coordinated core networks are connected is disclosed, wherein a service state of a mobile station is checked, when a request for a paging message to the mobile station has been received from one of the non-coordinated core networks. Then, a multicall paging message is transmitted using an existing signalling link of the mobile station and/or mobile station location information known in a radio access network, when the mobile station is already connected to another one of the non-coordinated core networks. The checking is preferably performed by a radio network controller which is connected to the non-coordinated core networks. Thus, a paging request received from a non-coordinated core network can be supplied to a mobile station, although the paged mobile station is already connected to another non-coordinated core network.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de recherche de personnes pour un réseau de communication mobile, auquel sont connectés au moins deux réseaux centraux. Ce procédé permet de vérifier un état de service d'une station mobileorsqu'une demande de message de recherche de personne adressée à ladite station mobile a été reçue en provenance de l'un des réseaux centraux non coordonnés. Ensuite, un message de recherche de personnes à plusieurs appels est transmis à l'aide d'une liaison de signalisation existante de la station mobile et/ou des informations de positionnement de la station mobile dans un réseau d'accès radio, lorsque la station mobile est déjà connectée à l'autre des réseaux centraux non coordonnés. La vérification est, de préférence, effectuée par un contrôleur de réseau radio qui est connecté aux réseaux centraux non coordonnés. Ainsi, une demande de recherche de personne reçue en provenance d'un réseau central non coordonné peut être envoyée à une station mobile, bien que la station mobile appelée soit déjà connectée à un autre réseau central non coordonné.
