A method of detecting, visualising or treating cells which express a uPA/uPAR complex, in particular cancerous cells, with a PAI-2 conjugate molecule is described. The PAI-2 conjugate molecule comprises PAI-2 or a functional derivative, homologue, analogue, chemical equipment or mimetic thereof, which PAI-2 is bound, linked or otherwise associated with a toxin or label.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant la détection, la visualisation ou le traitement de cellules exprimant un complexe uPA/uPAR, en particulier de cellules cancéreuses, au moyen d'une molécule conjuguée comprenant l'inhibiteur PAI-2. Cette molécule conjuguée de PAI-2 comprend l'inhibiteur PAI-2 ou un dérivé fonctionnel, un homologue, un analogue, un équivalent chimique ou un mimétique de celui-ci, cet inhibiteur PAI-2 étant fixé, lié ou associé d'une autre manière à une toxine ou à un marqueur.
