A paint circulating system is suitable for providing paint to applicators in a product finishing facility. The system includes a pump (22) for pumping paint around the system and a back-pressure regulator (BPR (25) , which substantially eliminates pressure fluctuations of paint in the system upstream of the BPR (25) . Control means (26) are provided for controlling the pump (22) and the BPR (25) to operate in one of a flow mode, wherein a required flow rate of paint around the system is maintained, and a pressure mode, wherein a pressure of paint between the pump (22) and the BPR (25) is maintained . The paint circulating method includes switching operation of the pump and the BPR between the flow mode and the pressure mode.
Système de circulation de peinture convenant à la fourniture de peinture à des applicateurs dans un équipement de finition de produit. Le système comporte une pompe (22) permettant de pomper de la peinture autour du système, et un régulateur de pression de refoulement (BPR) (25), qui supprime de manière sensible les fluctuations de pression de la peinture dans le système en amont du BPR (25). Des moyens de commande (26) sont installés pour commander la pompe (22) et le BPR (25) pour qu~ils fonctionnent soit en mode d~écoulement, caractérisé en ce qu~un débit requis de peinture autour du système est maintenu, soit en mode de pression, caractérisé en ce qu~une pression de peinture entre la pompe (22) et le BPR (25) est conservée.
