Abstract of The Disclosure Paint spray booth detackification compositions and methods are disclosed. The compositions comprise a hectorite clay, an anti- foaming agent and optionally, an aluminum oxide material and a mont- morillonite clay. These compositions are introduced into a paint spray booth water wash system so as to detackify oversprayed paint.
