Abstract of the Disclosure A paint spraying shroud has a relatively narrow front opening, an air exhaust opening or openings co-extensive with the front opening and disposed on a rear side of the shroud directly opposite the front opening, and a relatively wide intermediate portion. The air flow through the shroud may be substantially entirely uniformly parallel to the horizontal, so that a more uniformly applied coating of paint is obtained on vertically oriented elongated items which are continuously passed through the shroud.
