A pair of brake linings (4) for a disk brake comprising a brake caliper(1), particularly a disk brake with a sliding caliper, consisting of one brake lining (6) which is actively connected on the clamping side to a clamping device (11) and one brake lining (5) on the reaction side, respectively comprising a lining carrier plate (9, 7) and a friction lining (8) which are frictionally arranged on a brake disk (3) in a braking position. The inventive pair of brake linings is embodied in such a way that the clamping-sided (9) and reaction-sided (7) lining carrier plate are adapted, configured and dimensioned differently corresponding to the respectively occurring loads and construction areas (12,13) of the brake caliper (1).

L'invention concerne une paire de garnitures de frein (4) pour un frein à disque comprenant un étrier de frein (1), en particulier un frein à disque pourvu d'un étrier glissant, constituée d'une garniture de frein (6) qui coopère avec un dispositif d'application de frein (11) côté application de frein, ainsi que d'une garniture de frein (5) côté réaction. Ces garnitures de frein comprennent respectivement une plaque de support de garniture (9, 7) et une garniture de friction (8) disposée sur cette dernière qui, en position de freinage, reposent sur le disque de frein (3) de manière à exercer une friction. La paire de garnitures de frein selon l'invention est conçue de manière que la plaque de support de garniture côté application de frein (9) et côté réaction (7) présentent des configurations et des dimensions différentes qui sont adaptées aux sollicitations engendrées respectives et à l'encombrement (12, 13) respectif de l'étrier de frein (1).
