Le revêtement comprend une coque externe rigide ayant un profil aerodynamique souhaité, realisée en matériaux diélectriques, et une couche d'un matériau de conformation non travaillant, léger et souple, assurant un remplissage entre le noyau et la coque externe, et absorbant des ondes électromagnétiques de façon à former un écran radar.
