The umbrella for the "PaLiS" system allows for the lighting units to be plugged directly into the main post. This innovation eliminates the outside wiring that is required for the retrofit unit. All wiring is contained within the main post and is part of the umbrella. Since this umbrella is designed spe- cifically for the "PaLiS" system, any other internally wired umbrella would not be recommended for use with this system.
