There is provided a unique accessory device for enabling the immediate retrieval of a pallet from its destination point by means of providing sufficient space between the load, more particularly, rolled or stabbed sod, comprising: a plane horizontal sheet, above which, a plurality of upwardly and reversibly beveled ribs attached thereon form the raised portion of said accessory device. The ribs allow unobstructed access for typical mufti-bar lift-truck forks below the load of sod, enabling the said sod to be raised vertically from the pallet assembly thus providing immediate retrieval of pallet assembly.
