Technologies are described herein for providing a pan and zoom control in conjunction with a timeline for navigat-ing project schedule data in a project management application. The project management application displays a pan and zoom con-trol in conjunction with a project schedule timeline, with the pan and zoom control at a position and of a size relative to the time-line that reflects the temporal scope of project schedule data currently displayed. The pan and zoom control is configured to allow a user to move and resize the control along the timeline Upon detecting movement or resizing of the pan and zoom control, the project management application will change the scope of the project schedule data displayed to match the time period represented by the new position and/or new size of the pan and zoom control in relation to the timeline

Linvention concerne des technologies destinées à offrir une commande de panoramique et de zoom en conjonction avec un axe des temps de navigation dans les données de planification dun projet dans une application de gestion de projet. Lapplication de gestion de projet affiche une commande de panoramique et de zoom en conjonction avec un axe des temps de planification du projet, la position et la taille de la commande de panoramique et de zoom par rapport à laxe des temps reflétant létendue temporelle des données de planification du projet actuellement affichées. La commande de panoramique et de zoom est configurée de façon à permettre à un utilisateur de déplacer et de redimensionner la commande le long de laxe des temps. Suite à la détection dun mouvement ou dun redimensionnement de la commande de panoramique et de zoom, lapplication de gestion de projet modifie létendue des données de planification du projet affichées de façon à correspondre à la période représentée par la nouvelle position et / ou la nouvelle taille de la commande de panoramique et de zoom par rapport à laxe des temps.
