A feeder assembly includes an elongated pan in either a two intersecting circle or oval shape. The feeder assembly includes first and second fill ports for receiving feed from a feed supply conduit and for providing feed to the pan. Each fill port provides feed to a separate portion of the pan. The fill ports are defined through an outer grill which is operatively associated with the pan. The outer grill has an elongated rim which is shaped to match the pan. The outer grill defines apertures therethrough through which birds can eat the feed presented on the pan. First and second inner grills are provided within the outer grill which can be rotated to partially mask the apertures to effectively change the width of the apertures. The inner grills are connected such that rotation of one inner grill causes rotation of the other inner grill in the opposite direction.
L'invention concerne un ensemble d'alimentation comprenant une mangeoire allongée sous forme de deux cercles qui se coupent ou ovale. L'ensemble d'alimentation comprend un premier et un second orifice de remplissage permettant de recevoir les aliments provenant d'un conduit d'alimentation et alimentant la mangeoire. Chaque orifice de remplissage alimente une partie séparée de la mangeoire, les orifices de remplissage étant définis via une grille extérieure qui fonctionne en association avec ladite mangeoire. La grille extérieure comprend un rebord mis en forme afin de correspondre à la mangeoire, et définit des ouvertures à travers lesquelles les oiseaux peuvent manger les aliments présentés dans la mangeoire. Une première et une seconde grille internes sont placées dans la grille externe et peuvent tourner afin de masquer partiellement les ouvertures afin de modifier efficacement leur largeur. Les grilles internes sont connectées de sorte que la rotation de l'une d'elles entraîne la rotation de l'autre dans le sens opposé.
