ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a pane cover for motor vehicles, which pane cover is in particular provided with an imprint to serve as an advertisement bearing means, comprising a rectangular covering sheet made of plastic foil, rubber, fabrics or the like, and having at each of its both narrow sides one reinforcement bar extending over the entire length of said sides and being releasably attachable to the pane area, wherein, for fastening the pane cover to the vehicle, each reinforcement bar is provided with an integrally formed locking profile by means of which each reinforcement bar may be snapped, hooked or nipped into a mounting bar fixed to the vehicle, in particular to the pane to be covered, said mounting bar being provided with a complementary profile and extending over a part or the entire length of said reinforcement bars.
