The invention relates to a fastening system (1) for panels (2, 3), especially for floor panels, that are placed on a base (U) and whose edges are provided with holding profiles. The holding profile of a long edge and the holding profile of the opposite edge as well as the holding profiles of the other two short edges of a panel (2, 3) match one another in such a manner that further panels (3) can be fastened to the free edges of one of the placed panels (2). The holding profiles of the long edge of the panels (2, 3) are configured as complementary positive fit profiles (4, 5) and the panels (2, 3) are interconnected by pivoting them to be joined. The complementary positive fit profile is provided with a recess opposite the edge of the panel (2). The upper side facing away from the base is beveled so that there is room for the common joint. L'invention concerne un système de fixation (1) pour panneaux (2, 3), en particulier pour panneaux de sol, que l'on pose sur une base (U) et dont les chants sont pourvus de profils de maintien. Le système de fixation selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le profil de maintien d'un chant long et le profil de maintien du chant opposé ainsi que les profils de maintien des deux autres chants courts d'un panneau (2, 3) sont adaptés les uns aux autres de sorte qu'on peut fixer d'autres panneaux (3) aux chants libres d'un panneau posé (2), en ce qu'au moins les profils de maintien des chants longs des panneaux (2, 3) sont réalisés sous forme de profils à liaison de forme (4, 5) associés les uns aux autres et en ce qu'on peut fixer les panneaux (2, 3) les uns aux autres par un mouvement d'assemblage rotatif. Le profil à liaison de forme associé du chant opposé du panneau (2) comporte une partie en saillie dont la face supérieure opposée à la base présente un enlèvement de matière oblique créant un espace libre pour le mouvement de l'articulation commune.
