Abstract A panel comprising internal air layers, having a high insulating power, for the protection of roofs or of external walls of buildings or vehicles Heat and sound insulating panel formed by at least two plates (1), which are parallel and spaced out by means of blocks (2) made of a heat insulating material and applied between two adjacent surfaces of two plates (1), so that the blocks (2) fixed to one surface of one of the plates (1) are offset with respect to those fixed on the opposite surface. said plates (1), in combination with said spacers forming blocks (2), define cavities (3) and corresponding insulating air layers. The panel may have two external principal surfaces formed by two plates (1); or it may have only the exposed surface realized by a plate (1) while the opposite surface is apt to be attached on a wall or an external wall of a building or floor (4) and it is constituted by a plate (1) from whose surface a set of blocks (2) project.
