The present invention is directed to a panel extension assembly for supporting an extension wall panel on top of a base wall panel. The panel extension has a channel member adapted to receive a substantially horizontally extending top surface of a base wall panel frame. The channel member has a pair of spaced side walls joined by a middle wall and is adapted to slide over the sides and rest on the top surface of the base wall panel frame. An extension member is attached to the channel member and extends upward therefrom. An extension wall panel is attached to the extension member thereby securing the extension wall panel on top of the base wall panel.
La présente invention porte sur un panneau d'extension qui permet de retenir un panneau mural d'extension sur le dessus d'un panneau mural de base. Le panneau d'extension comporte une rainure conçue pour recevoir la surface extérieure relativement horizontale qui se prolonge du cadre d'un panneau mural de base. Cette rainure est composée d'une paire d'éléments latéraux reliés par un élément central et est conçue pour glisser sur les parois latérales sur le dessus du cadre du panneau mural de base et pour y rester. Un élément d'extension est relié à la rainure et se prolonge vers le haut. Un panneau mural d'extension est relié à l'élément d'extension, ce qui permet de bien fixer ce panneau mural d'extension sur le dessus du panneau mural de base.
