PANEL SUPPORT OF A CURTAIN WALL Abstract of the Disclosure: A panel support of a curtain wall of the type secur- ing a panel by holding its edges in four-sided, continuous and inside-facing grooves constructed by providing a groove on one side of each of the section members which form verti- cal and horizontal frame members of a four-sided frame with a seal positioned between the groove-forming side of the section members and the panel, and with a space formed along and all around the edges of the panel. The improvement comprises forming the groove on one side of each of the section members by the section member, a thermal insulating connecting member and a holding member by fixing the holding member to the one side of each of the section members with the connecting member held therebetween, pressing a portion of each connecting member on the seal, and providing openigns at least in the holding members positioned on the horizontal frame members allowing the space to communicate with the air.
