The processing apparatus described herein was developed for chopping and mixing paper and food waste. Biodegradable organics are fed into an enclosure from an inlet in the top. A rotating propeller chops up the biodegradable organics and creates turbulence inside an enclosure which mixes the biodegradable organics. When the biodegradable organics have been chopped and mixed to the desired consistency a door on the outlet, on the side of the lower portion of the enclosure is manually opened and the biodegradable organic mixture is expelled by the propeller's motion. The biodegradable organic mixture is then dispensed automatically through a blower.

L'appareil décrit ici a été mis au point pour hacher et mélanger du papier usé et des restes alimentaires. Les produits organiques biodégradables sont introduits dans un contenant par une ouverture à la partie supérieure de celui-ci. Un hélicomélangeur hache les matières organiques biodégradables, la turbulence créée assurant le mélange de ces matières. Une fois que celles-ci ont été hachées et brassées à la consistance voulue, on ouvre manuellement une porte du côté inférieur du contenant, ce qui permet d'évacuer le mélange organique biodégradable sous l'effet de la turbulence. Le mélange est ensuite dispersé automatiquement par une souffleuse.
