PAPER COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nonwoven paper sheet comprising cellulosic fibers and hydrophilic fibers, such as acrylic, polyester or aramid fibers. Acrylic fibers are added in a weight amount of from 0.2% to 40% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet. The preferred addition of acrylic fibers is in a weight amount of from 0.2% to 10% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet. Polyester fibers are added in a weight amount of from 0.5% to 40% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet. The pre- ferred addition of polyester fibers is in a weight amount of from 0.5% to 10% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet. Aramid fibers are added in a weight amount of from 0.2% to 20% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet. The preferred addition of aramid fibers is in a weight amount of from 0.2% to 5% based upon the total weight of the paper sheet.
