Paper converting machinery has a mill stock roll, a slitter mechanism, a rewind roll and a conveyor for delivering paper rolls to a packing location. A vacuum source has intakes between the mill stock roll and the rewind roll to remove contaminants from the surface of the paper. There are also intakes adjacent the conveyor to remove contaminants from the end surfaces of the converted paper rolls.

Cette invention concerne une machine de transformation du papier comportant une bobine mère, un mécanisme de coupe, une bobine de rebobinage et un convoyeur servant à transporter les rouleaux de papier vers un poste d'emballage.
