A converting roll for processing web materials is disclosed. The converting roll has a core with a radius ranging from about 1 inch (2.54 cm) to about 12 inches (30.48 cm) and an outer surface. The converting roll also has an elastomeric roll cover disposed about the outer surface of the core. The elastomeric roll cover has a hardness ranging from about 80 P & J to about 140 P & J and a thickness ranging from about 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) to about 1.25 inches (31.75 mm).

La présente invention concerne un rouleau de conversion pour le traitement de matériaux en bande continue. Le rouleau de conversion comporte un mandrin ayant un rayon compris entre environ 1 pouce (2,54 cm) et environ 12 pouces (30,48 cm) et une surface extérieur. Le rouleau de conversion comporte également un capot de rouleau élastomère disposé autour de la surface extérieur du mandrin. Le capot de rouleau élastomère présente une dureté comprise entre environ 80 P & J et environ 140 P & J et une épaisseur comprise entre environ 0,25 pouce (6,35 cm) et environ 1,25 pouces (31,75 cm).
