A disposable cup holder consists of a band for supporting a cup in co- axial register therewith. The band encircles an opening for receiving a tapered portion of the cup's exterior surface in abutting relation against a generally correspondingly-tapered interior surface of the band. The band further has provision for being grasped, to enable a person to lift and manipulate the holder, with the cup supported therein.
