ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A paper folding and conveying apparatus and, more particularly, an improved apparatus for the high speed conveying of paper strip and imparting an overlying fold thereto. A pair of longitudinally spaced conveyor assemblies continuously receive and convey a continuously supplied strip of paper downwardly therebetween and alternately across res- pective lowermost runs thereof. Longitudinally spaced pairs of downwardly extending spiral conveyor assemblies have the uppermost ends thereof outwardly adjacent the lowermost runs and are operative to alternately receive portions of the strips at the uppermost ends and to fold the strip while conveying it downwardly. An exit conveyor assembly below the spiral conveyor assemblies receives the folded strip for subsequent conveying.
