Foamed, aqueous adhesive compositions are used to manufacture tissue laminate products including or especially as bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, and the like. Foaming typically occurs by introducing pressurized gas and adhesive flows in a nozzle chamber on demand, wherein the kinetic energy of the flows is used to provide mixing energy. The adhesive preferably is dispensed as a plurality of discrete, foamed adhesive particles. The foamed adhesive can be used for intralamina bonds, interlaminate bonds, bonding loose sheet extremities, bonding roll to roll, and the like. The invention provides a reliable, straightforward way to accomplish in-nozzle foaming of an adhesive.
L'invention concerne des compositions d'adhésifs aqueux expansés que l'on utilise pour fabriquer des produits stratifiés de papier, notamment ou, plus précisément, du papier hygiénique, des mouchoirs de papier, des serviettes de papier et analogues. Le moussage survient d'ordinaire par introduction à la demande d'un gaz sous pression et de flux adhésifs dans une chambre de buse, l'énergie cinétique des flux servant à produire une énergie de mélange. L'adhésif est de préférence distribué sous forme de particules adhésives, expansées et discrètes. L'adhésif expansé peut servir à des liaisons à l'intérieur de laminés, à des liaisons entre laminés, à des liaison d'extrémités de feuilles volantes, et à des liaisons de rouleau à rouleau, notamment. L'invention concerne enfin une façon fiable et simple de réaliser un moussage d'adhésif dans la buse.
