A paper machine having a forming fabric (10) with a paper side plurality of weft (14) and warp yarns (12) interwoven to form a layer (16) contacting a paper web. A plurality of weft (20) and warp yarns (18) are interwoven to form a machine side layer (22) for the forming fabric. A plurality of warp binder yarns (28) are interlaced with the paper side and machine side yarns to form a multiple layered forming fabric. The weft yarns in the machine side layer are greater in diameter than the warp yarns for maintaining width stability of the fabric. The fabric is characterized by high permeability, high void volume and a high Beran s Fiber Support Index.
La présente invention concerne une machine à papier comprenant une toile de formation (10) avec une pluralité de fils de trame (14) et de fils de chaîne (12) à face de feuille entrecroisés de manière à former une couche (16) qui est en contact avec une bande de papier. Une pluralité de fils de trame (20) et de fils de chaîne (18) est entrecroisée afin de constituer une couche côté machine (22) pour la toile de formation. Une pluralité de fils de chaîne de liage (28) est entrelacée avec la face de feuille et les chaînes côté machine de manière à former une toile de formation multicouches. Les fils de trame de la couche côté machine ont un diamètre supérieur aux fils de chaîne, et ce afin de maintenir la stabilité en largeur de la toile. Cette dernière se caractérise par sa grande perméabilité, son important volume de vide et son indice de support de fibres Beran élevé.
